Where to Start?
1- Watch the amusing Cheeseavi animation on the S:\subjects\digitech\Year 11\Blender folder - ask Miss for headphones. This is an advanced example. You are at the beginner stage.
2- Other simpler examples also on the S drive are - Space Oddity avi; Kevin and the Videogame;
3 - Make sure blender is installed on your system - Type Blender in the start menu. If it is not, install it:
- Ask Miss to login. Double click on the blender windows32.exe file. Click next to all the defaults until it says Finished.
- Open Blender
4 - Watch the Carved avi tutorial in the same blender folder on the S drive. Pause and Play as needed so you can follow along with the tutorial as you need. Your goal is to re-create the same Carved effect as the youtube clip. This will help you get familiar with some of the features in this application before you try something more advanced.
Remember to save your Blender file on your H drive as you go so you don't lose it.
